Leaving wonderful people - July 15th

We slept like bears tonight. We don't know why. Perhaps of the real good food we had yesterday evening at Gennie DeWeese's studio (Pasta con pesto, insalata mista con olio & aceto). Perhaps of the beers, we drunk together with Tom, Tina and Gennie. Perhaps of the exciting surrounding and the special yurt-feeling.
The chat about horses (real and sculptured), about Pirsig, his life and his book, about the important things in life and about quality of relationships made us so warm at heart and happy. We will never forget this evening which reminded Franz on the days staying with the famous artist and teacher Joerg Schreyoegg at the Chiemsee Lake. The harvest of thoughts was spectacular and we both hope to come back soon.
We now knew more about artist life in Montana, about hunting and horse-back-riding and about our lacks we have to fill to become real cowboys.
We couldn't believe, that we got real coffee in the morning (too strong for Tom, but quite strong enough for us), melone, sausages and good bread after all that horrible stuff we usually had the days before.
Thank you very much for everything, for the great food, the overnight stay in the yurt, for the time you took to tell us all your most exciting stories. Thanks for your warm hospitality. And we both wish you, Gennie, a pretty good winter in your new home, and we wish Tina always to be held tight bei Tom. And, Tom, please remain our cowboy artist!
